I've been having issues with more than one script. At first, it was only
one script, and I thought it might be a problem with that one script. But
this morning, another script tried to update and failed. And the results
are the same.

Running Windows 8 64-bit on stock portable FF 13.0.1 (although it was
happening with 12.X as well).

I get a notice that a new version is up. I wait for the timer to expire
and I hit the upgrade button. I then reload my page (forcing me to login
in again, but oh well for me...) only to find that the script *isn't even
there.* Even though Greasemonkey gave me an indication that it did
upgrade. I have to go back to the original source and install it from
there. Now today in this other script, I waited for the timer and hit the
Install button. It indicated that I hit the Install button, but that was
it. Dialog is still open, and hitting Install just blinks the button.
Hitting the View Source button then proceeds to have FF tell me that the
file it's trying to display isn't found. I check my installed scripts, and
lo and behold, that script doesn't show up now. And there's nothing in my
TEMP directory to show that it was ever there.

The game is at alliances.commandandconquer.com, and this
https://prodgame05.alliances.commandandconquer.com/14/index.aspx is the
actual URL of the game I'm playing.

That script is the one that disappears after upgrading.

That script is the one that I tried to upgrade this morning, and
Greasemonkey just kept the dialog box open.

Thank you.
