Hey there. I was using FF v20 and upgraded to FF v27. In FF v20, GM script data was stored in the "prefs.js" file. This data could also be accessed through "about:config" where it could be edited on the fly.
Now when I edit a script in v27, it seems script data is no longer stored in the "prefs.js" folder. When I mean script data. I'm not talking install data that's included in the "js" files (in the "gm_scripts" location) or the editable settings within addons > user scripts (same .js data). I did some searching and couldn't find the storage location for script data. It seems some of it lies within the "webappsstore.sqlite-wal" file. This seems to be some type of temp file though. *Can anyone help me out here?* The script in question that I'm trying to edit is: vBulletin thread hider ( https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/120455 ). It has a GUI where I can edit data within firefox, but outside firefox I can't seem to find out where this data resides. I emailed the developer and asked a discussion question, but waiting on a reply back. Thought I would ask here as this question seems to be related to GM itself and not the actual script(s). For anyone curious why I would like to know this information (where internal script data is stored). When I update to v27 from v20 and do the script updates using the newer script version(s) (thread hider) and newer GM versions update(s), none of my settings merge w/ the newer setup(s)/version(s). There is also no bulk upload feature for me to add my old settings in bulk. Which means I would have to input 3000+ old settings one-by-one which is time consuming and I don't have a stress-ball strong enough to endure the stress this would cause. Thanks for any feedback. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "greasemonkey-users" group.
