An often occuring problem is how to remove stuff after a certain element up to

<p>
<span class="uniqueaaa">...</span>

<span class="uniquebbb">...</span>
this stuff should be removed resp. hidden
</p>
This text should be kept
....
How can I achieve this from GM script?
Thank you
