After upgrading to Firefox Quantum, 57.0, 64-bit, and Greasemonkey 4.0, I've been having difficulties with some websites or parts of websites loading.
Disabling Greasemonkey in Add-On's resolves the issues. I noticed that when using cPanel in my Hostgator account, that the page never finishes loading. In particular, the main center column where all of the functionality is accessed via icons never loads. Just a spinner forever. Somebody sent me a link to a funny cat gif (yes, really), that was on somebodies twitter timeline and the gif would not play and it seemed to freeze up the page. https://twitter.com/DickKingSmith/status/930761200044036097 I have probably run into a few other sites that were getting stuck before I narrowed it down to Greasemonkey simply being enabled. I have no scripts that would run on these pages. Actually one on the computers where I experienced this, Firefox Sync installed the GM add-on, but there are no scripts at all and I was seeing this behavior. My initial observations with disabling GM from the GM icon (Greasemonkey is active) did not seem to fix the problem either. Only fully disabling the add-on from the Firefox Add-On's page fixed the conflict. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "greasemonkey-users" group.
