Decided to add some userscripts to my recently downloaded Cyberfox portable, and decided after downloading and installing 8 scripts, to test them. None worked. Then I clicked on the Greasemonkey add-on bar icon and discovered that it does not list any installed scripts. So I wasted a few hours, but fortunately saved the links to the scripts in my bookmarks, so I at least won't have to search for them again, after "downgrading" to Greasemonkey 3.17. But doing so presents another problem, in that I can't use the option tab to update add-ons along with the browser any longer, unless I backup 3.17 with the userscripts elsewhere.
Not really upset though, b/c once Firefox ends their memory-munching ESR version, then I am ending my 14 year long use of it ever since it was called Firebird. Firefox is bound and determined to become a speed browser for the luddite losers who do not use extensions, and spend most of their time on mobile devices. They are ignoring their long-time power/privacy users who still prefer laptops and PCs. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "greasemonkey-users" group.
