Peter Gorman, noted writer, adventurer and ethnobotanical collector, will be leading several tours to some of Peru's Sacred Sites during 2005. The focus of the tours will be the Sacred Plant Medicines of the region. The groups are small, generally no more than six, and the tours attempt to get the guests to have a real sense of what Peru means, from its people to its heritage to the vital role it has played in supplying several plants--from the tomato to the potato--to the world at large. Peter Gorman has spent part of each of the last 20 years in Peru's Amazon and has run his occasional tours since 1998.
