New Consumer Magazine Dedicated to Responsible Travel Launches at TIES North American Conference, Redefines Green for Enlightened Explorers Want to know how to "go green" on your next vacation? For starters, you need to know that "green travel" involves more than just concern for the planet. Modern Traveler is a new magazine dedicated to helping travelers choose responsible and sustainable travel options. Available Spring 2008, Modern Traveler, the magazine for enlightened explorers, will provide readers with easy and fun ways to make a big difference through small choices. The magazine will be a tool for those who want to make responsible travel choices by showcasing responsible tour companies, destinations, attractions and other travel professionals around the world. It also will highlight an array of travel-related products, offer health and wellness tips for travelers, and introduce new travel ideas such as culinary tourism options, cultural travel offerings and fun experiences in tourism for the entire family. "When it comes to travel, environmental responsibility is only half the picture," said Modern Traveler Editor and Co-founder Frances Figart. "As Modern Travelers, we can also make choices that improve the wellbeing of the people in the places we visit." MT, as the magazine is called for short, will launch a 36-page Preview issue at TIES North American Conference. = = = Modern Traveler Magazine - The Global Magazine for Enlightened Explorers http://www.moderntravelermagazine.com/ Frances Figart, Editor Modern Traveler Magazine 919 South Noble Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46203 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
