i love peace. i really love it. and i am quite fed up of the stories of bloodshed.
from iraq. from east timore. from columbia.

from manipur. from andhra. from karnataka. from kerala..

i watch documentaries. i see people running for their life, from the bullets and bionets. people who were displaced, while the whole world was shamelessly looking at them, doing nothing, absolutely nothing, waiting for them to get lost so that they can sign new contracts, treaties to exploit the wealth..

i see silent tears flowing..eyes which have something in common with graveyards.. i see suppressed anger and  tightening hands on the gun..

people who are made to beat each other. (you know, you beat your friend with a lathi..or else u get shot.that was from manipur.)soldiers laughing gloriously, holding a human head in their hand..timore..guantanamo.

when nations turn against nations, when state turn against civilians, when politics starts sounding like something which s very, very far from human rights, when each day the news paper gives me this sick feeling of helplessness , and hope seems to be a long forgotten, distand  hollow sound.. i wonder.

peace?? at what cost??
