World Social Forum postponed
WSF Karachi is been postponed till a new date is set. The proposal to
postpone the WSF was unanimously agreed by a joint meeting of national
steering committee Pakistan Social Forum and organising committee WSF held
in Lahore on saturday 19th November.
The main reason was the unprecedented tragedy of earthquake in pakistan.
It was agreed that a one day pakistan Social Forum will be held in lahore on
24th January 2006 on the question of militarisation of relief and other
issues related to earthquake.
