While the verdict is welcome in as much as the court guards against every kind of probable constraints in immediately filing complaint, no less important was the need of positively encouraging the victims/relatives to overcome the social taboos in speaking out; this needs to be stressed in unequivocal terms( rather than virtually lending legitimation or justification for such attitudes on the part of victims or relatives- it is not that such thing has happened in this case)
