Anybody's mail box can be filled with abusing letters. Don't mind such
threats. Anyhow it has a resonance of the 'Vimochana samaram'. From 1957
onwards a team of intellectuals have been consistently supporting the
rightist agitations in Kerala. As we know from Muslim league to BJP
rightist parties organise labourers and other people's movements simply
to topple the left or the actually existing left as it is called by
Jameson. The actual left with all its limitations opposes Imperialism
and religious fascism because the left determines history by remaing and
functioning as the anti-thesis of the dominant other. Anybody is free
to join the right/extreme right front and their agitations. But we, the
left need not hesitate to say that certain struggles are deliberately
manipulated simply to destroy the actually existing left, whether in
China, India, Cuba, Venezuala or elsewhere. They will keep silence about
the 'anava karar' and ignore Gujarat and Orissa and the Israel
dealings. The so called 'swathantra budhijeevikal' will not say anything
about CIA and their world wide conspiracies. So let them fill our mail
box with whatever their culture allows them and we should boldly declare
that mock struggles are mock struggles which will not serve any
progressive interests like the 'Vimochana samaram'. If he/she is sincere
he/she should examin the role of left in the Indian context and what
will be the consequenses if the actual left is evaporated as the pseudo
leftists desires. Like Chidambaram they are also afraid of the 'sixty'
