Hi, How is it possible for somebody to disregard the feelings of peope like this?
I was disturbed after reading about the situation of people caught in Chengara due to this blockade. I am more disturbed after reading this article. Why didn't the guy writing ponder for a moment about the situation and feelings involved? Such lack of sympathy comes from his/her privileged caste/class position. s/he is not able to identify with any of the women living in Chengara. I am really pained. Will they ridicule even if women get infected due to lack of medical care? Will they make nasty comments even if people suffer due to the cruel blockade? who is this Satamanu? Can some of us women go to Deshabhimani office and talk to him?
