It was inaugurated by C.R.Neelakandan. Every day one family leads the satyagraha. Today the 11th day lead it by the family of M.C.Gopi. There is a happy news: Panchayath issued STOP MEMMO to the company from 3rd July to 6th July. On 6.7.2010 a meeting is going to be held by Panchayath at 10.30am in the Panchayath with Company authorities, Action Council representatives, PCB officials, Police authorities and Political Party representatives. After that, Panchayath will decide the future course of action in their meeting on the same day at 2.30pm. Another news: Jananeethi publised their survey/study report at Thiruvananthapuram on 30th June. Myself and Anil attended the Press Conference. They also met Chief Minister and handed over the report to him. Report reveals highly toxic contents in river water, drinking water and solid waste including heavy metals! Press & Print meldia including Indian Express and The Hindu published the matter.
