Greetings from NMLLJ ! It is really shameful that after the lodging of more then two dozen FIRs against yog trainer & businessman Ram Krishan Yadav alias Ramdev who has used derogatory & abusive language against Dalit women and women in general in a public gathering at Lucknow on 26th April2014 at a press conference. Lucknow police after the instruction from Govt of UP has registered an FIR on the same day under sc/st ( PAO) Act1989 but surprisingly UP police has allowed him to run away. On 27th under the banner of Dr. Ambedkar Mahasabha, UP, We had lodged an FIR against Ramdev at Lucknow. We had also submitted a memorandum to the Election commission of UP and appealed to impose ban on Ramdev for election campaigning of BJP which has been considered by the commission and taken a decision to ban Ramdev to conduct or participate in any campaigning or event at Lucknow. Latter ban has been extended over the country. Since 27th April2014, Dalits and other movements groups are protesting against Ramdev and demanding his arrest under SC/ST ( POA) Act1989 and under IPC. But instead to arrest Ramdev police and administration from different states are providing hurdle free passage and he is roaming freely across the country. We demand that NHRC and National Commission for Scheduled Caste to registered cases against the Yoga Trainer Ram Krishan Yadav Alias Ramdev and adminstrative officials for non performing of the duties to arrest Ram Dev.
