The term `colonialism’ has been treated as an economic category, along with differences of power equations and human rights violations. At this historical conjuncture, it is too important to widen the meaning of this term. There is also `spiritual colonialism’ , `linguistic colonialism’ and `cultural colonialism’. If we study these three aspects governing our social consciousness, then we will come to the conclusion that we are beginning with a new era of freedom struggle.
