Recently, one of my friends deposited Rs. 200/- for the recharge of my mobile yesterday. I got a message from the company saying that the talk time received is after deducting GST of Rs. 30.51 and access fee of Rs. 3. So you pay two hundred and you get the benefit of only Rs. 166.5. This is a loot by our Government. The company is not losing anything. GST is on you and me. Imagine the condition of a poor farmer or any other underprivileged person who carefully makes a call with every rupee in mind. Subsidies are meant for the Ambanis, Adanis and the super rich. GST is meant for the poor.
