China, India and the UAE - three great democracies abstain, Russia vetoes.

As the Indian regime has no "principle" to stand up for and only (realist)
"interests" to protect and promote, it is this time in a real quandary -
unable to make out which way lies its "interests".

But, the war on Ukraine, to be sure, is inaugurating an era of New Cold War.

This indecision - or deliberate ambiguity, would come back to bite its
author.
It'd be hard put to make up with China and the relations with the opposing
camp would turn much less than cordial. So, assaults on "democracy" at home
would come under far harsher scrutiny than before - apart from all else.

<<Countries that voted to adopt the motion were France, Britain, US,
Albania, Brazil, Gabon, Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, and Norway. China,
India, and United Arab Emirates abstained.>>
