You can do this with square brackets after the chant text, e.g. latinword[vernacular text]. A short example: name: Magnificat; %% Ma[My soul](f3e)gní(fe)fi(eh)cat(h.) *(:) á[doth magnify the Lord:](h)ni(h)ma(h) mé(h)a(g) Dó(e)mi(fr)num.(f.) (::) You can use more precise alignment by separating the translation words more carefully amongst the syllables, if you wish. Hope that helps. -- Tracy
