Ok - re: my early question about getting it installed: I succeeded at the point that I realized - due to using the tk-perl gui installer for texlive rather than the text - that texlive was trying to install in directories that I didn't have permissions for, and installing as root seemed to make it only want to run correctly *as* root. I changed the install location to my own folders. I modified the PATHs, and then gregorio installed and ran just fine.
Another question, then, is: Is there any way to insert a space in the midst of a staff? This was at least done in a lot of the English chant books of G. H. Palmer, where, for example, one verse of the hymn would be given, then a break in the staff before the amen; thus showing the Amen to be a separate bit of music, not to follow immediately after verse 1. -Michael _______________________________________________ Gregorio-users mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/gregorio-users
