Thank you for the response. It doesn't matter what gabc file I use (I have
tried using the prewritten Populus Sion), it "compiles" into the same text
I posted. However, if I use the precompiled PopulusSion.tex within the
context of a creating a pdf, there are no problems. It appears that there
is a problem, perhaps with the installation, that prevents the gabc files
from compiling correctly into a TeX file. I know that with the latest
edition of TeXworks and OSX Mountain Lion there were a number of changes
that had to be done regarding the install that I found in the mailing list,
I'm just wondering if perhaps I missed something.
