Here's what we've tried before. The updmap commands were for Macs, so probably just edit the gregoriotex.tex file
Lines 119 and 122 of gregoriotex.tex change luaUseModule and luatexUseModule to RequireLuaModule line 107 change \directlua to \luadirect line 129-132 replace \luatexUseModule and \luaUseModule with \RequireLuaModule hmmm... Getting gregorio running on my Raspberry Pi, I'm pretty sure I only made 3 changes, so some of these changes may be redundant, but should still work. And for the record, gregorio works on the Raspbian OS - just install texlive, texlive-xetex, gregorio and do the above edits. So if all else fails buy a Raspberry Pi :) (of course the downside is it's a fairly slow little computer, but the new edition has double the RAM (512Mb) so getting faster) Veronica ----- Forwarded message from Veronica Brandt <[email protected]> ----- Date: Fri, 28 Oct 2011 22:56:17 +1100 From: Veronica Brandt <[email protected]> To: Gregorio Users <[email protected]> Subject: [Gregorio-users] The old lua bugs for new installations of gregorio User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.20 (2009-06-14) Update to the old instructions: Lines 119 and 122 of gregoriotex.tex change luaUseModule and luatexUseModule to RequireLuaModule Also need to run the following commands: updmap --enable Map greciliae.map updmap --enable Map gresym.map And then you can run gregorio! ----- Forwarded message from Veronica Brandt <[email protected]> ----- Date: Tue, 2 Aug 2011 14:28:16 +1000 From: Veronica Brandt <[email protected]> To: Michael Martin <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [Gregorio-users] Still having gregorio problems with Lion User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.20 (2009-06-14) It depends on the version of luatex which I guess depends on the version of texlive or whatever tex distribution they're using. Texlive2009 was working fine, but it was when I upgraded to Texlive2010 that I had the \greloadluamodule error. Changes in gregoriotex.tex line 107 change \directlua to \luadirect line 129-132 replace \luatexUseModule and \luaUseModule with \RequireLuaModule For the record luatex --version gives me: This is LuaTeX, Version beta-0.60.2-2010071217 (TeX Live 2010) (rev 3736) Veronica On Mon, Aug 01, 2011 at 10:03:36AM -0500, Michael Martin wrote: > > If you could resend it, please. > > What I am puzzled about is that some Lions users are running into the error, > others are not. > > > FYI.
