I was attempting to transcribe this document into neumes, but ran into trouble on the first line when I tried to add the parentheses as part of the text, which gregorio ended up rendering as it normally does, as parentheses surrounding notes. Is there a way to add parentheses to a text when running it through gregorio and leave the parentheses intact? I tried adding a backslash before them, and that did not work for me. Any ideas?
