Hi!

I should have begun there ;-)

First of all, I'm developing this software for a very concrete project
where I have been asked to make chant booklets. The idea is to share
the work between different people typesetting the chants and
automatically make a rough booklet from these data.

The most important table (in volume of data) is one I call "chants"
which contains incipit, mode, office part, version (to differenciate
Vatican and Solesmes versions, for instance) and few options. The gabc
field is currently json encoded. If it's a string, it's plain gabc
code. If it's an array, it's a more complex score, a transposition of
Andrew's mgabc (you can see them at
<http://test.selapa.net/gregobase/mgabc.php>). For the hymns, I added
2 fields with the verses as TeX and as gabc (where available) so that
you could download either the 1st verse only or the full hymn with the
music of all verses

There is a table with the sources and a one making the links between
chants and sources.

These are the tables currently in use.

The next steps are the chant editing and the booklet making
interfaces. This is where it would start being really useful to me ;-)
but that part is only in a searching stage, not currently useable at
all...

Yours,

Olivier
