The LaTeX package "fontspec" lets you select .TTF fonts. I've been
invoking them by name like this:
\usepackage{fontspec}
\setromanfont[BoldFont={Gentium Basic Bold},ItalicFont={Gentium
Italic}]{Gentium}"
But you need to install them first -- I think with the "autoinst.pl"
program.
