Dear all,
After quite a lot of work of necessary updates and bugfixes, I think the
2.3 release is ready. Can you please all test the latest svn and tell me
if you find any regression? If no regression is experimented by tomorrow
evening, I'll make the current state the official stable release!
I have uploaded a new version of setup.exe at
http://download.gna.org/gregorio/releases/2.3/, can someone please test
this installer?
Also, David or Michael, can you please build a package for Mac?
2.4 release will see some new bugfix and features, mainly:
- no duplicate clef at beginning of lines
- better vertical space handling
- better vertical episemus handling
- other features according to the time I'll have
and I will start a new branch for ancient notation... mail to follow
tomorrow if no regression comes.
I am very happy to see that Gregorio is used and useful to many people,
and to see that it improved quite a lot during last month. Actually I
didn't think there were so many bugs, I think I will start to be more
conservative and to make bugfixing top priority compared to new
features. Please report as many bugs and difficulties as possible, this
is how Gregorio gets improved!
