In terms of priorities for further developments for Gregorio, I wonder if you might consider working on the flats system for the next release. We've corresponded about this before, and here is the task that you inputted back in March, http://gna.org/task/?7673, which includes my original suggestion.
I will try yes, though this is something very uneasy to do with TeX... There is a first step I can do though: outputing an error message when the case of http://gregobase.selapa.net/chant.php?id=1163 happens. I think it would be a good first step...
