The short answer is that the OSX 2.3 installer does not put things in the 
standard locations they should be placed in a normal OSX system. I strongly 
advise against its use. 

IF you are somewhat computer savvy and have Xcode, then I recommend you 
download the files via SVN, compile them and install gregorio that way. It’s a 
bit time consuming to set up, but then you have the latest version/bug fixes 
and do not need to rely on someone to make an installer for you.

If that is not possible, I should be able to put together a new package that is 
a snapshot of the current SVN that will install correctly in Mavericks (which I 
am running). It’s small and I can e-mail it. You will need to do some terminal 
commands to remove the old package first.
