First, please send all replies to the list so that others can see them and help out if possible.

Second, I see the problem. It's a bug, but I don't have time to fix it at the moment. Even though they probably won't help you, I'm going to post the details of the problem so that if someone else has the time before me, they can quickly fix it. In order to space things out correctly, gregoriotex needs to know what the next syllable is. This is handled in argument #5 of \gresyllable. This argument is a call of \gresetnextsyllable and is supposed to use \gresetfixednexttextformat to apply formatting to that syllable. However, \gresetfixedtextformat is what is currently getting written to the gtex file by Gregorio. As a result, the \greunsetfixednexttextformat which follows doesn't have any effect (as we've set the text format for the current syllable, not the next). Fixing it requires going into gregoriotex-write.c and finding the code that inserts text formatting for argument #5 of \gresyllable and changing it so that it sets the right text format.

Third, I've copied the user list to make sure people are aware of this bug. It effects all syllables which are formatted with a single set of tags and which are immediately preceded by an unformatted syllable. To work around it (for now) you need to open the gtex file after it is generated and find all occurrences of "\gresetnextsyllable{\gresetfixedtextformat" and replace them with "\gresetnextsyllable{\gresetfixednexttextformat".

If no one gets to this before then, I may have time tomorrow to track down and fix this bug. More likely it'll be Friday.
