Checking work I did with an earlier version of gregorio, the asterisk at the barline still seems off to the left a little, but the spacing isn't so tight between the last note of the previous bar and the bar itself, so it doesn't look so bad.
The other option is to put the asterisk after the barline, but then it is further off to the right. Is there any way to get the asterisk centered under the barline?
