Oh, I've been through all this before, but I'm sure I configured it all in a whacky fashion.
I'm trying to figure out how to get my fonts into the chant.

So... I've removed all my texlive installations and all their various folders.
And I removed Gregorio too.
And now I've got texlive 2014 installed with all the defaults.
Rebooted.
And installed Gregorio 3.0 RC2.
Gregorio and lualatex work just fine!

My problem is that I can't figure out how to get my fonts picked up by lualatex. First, latex does not fetch them from c:\windows\fonts - some folks say it will, but it doesn't and hasn't in any of my many installations.

If I run:
kpsewhich --var=TEXMFVAR
then I get:
C:/Users/brgabriel/.texlive2014/texmf-var

/(and if you are wondering, if I run: //
//kpsewhich --var=TEXMFSYSVAR //
//then //it says://
//C:/texlive/2014/texmf-var//
//)/

So I tried putting my fonts in C:/Users/brgabriel/.texlive2014/texmf-var/fonts
then I ran:
texhash
udpmap
But lualatex can't find the fonts during compilation.
in the compilation log, it says (MirageMod is the name of my font): luaotfload | fonts : font with asked name 'MirageMod' is not found using lookup
'anon' :

So I tried putting my fonts (truetype) in c:\texlive\texmf-local\fonts
but I have the same problem.

Where should I put my fonts, and what should I do once I put them there?
