Never mind, I've figured it out. In case someone wants to give it a try
(I highly recommend it over TexWorks), TeXstudio can be used to work
with Gregorio + Lilypond using lyluatex if LuaLaTeX command is defined
as follows (Options>Configure TeXstudio>Commands):
lualatex --shell-escape -synctex=1 -interaction=nonstopmode %.tex
TeXstudio has some goodies like quick code insertion, tab handling, and
it also uses % !TEX directives, like TexWorks.
