There's the manual custos feature (j+), but in this case, its results as a workaround are not satisfactory. That reminds me that I should do a bit more testing of my fix on this front.

Is there a way to manually place a custos on the correct line?  Have it say it's a mi in c3?

Dear Father,
This is definitely a bug, and, unfortunately, I can't find a clean
workaround other than forcing a line break some place before the clef
change so that the clef change doesn't happen at the end of the line.
I will create the bug in github this evening unless you or someone beats
me to it.

Dear Gregorio Users,

Am I correct in understanding that a clef-change within a document is
called with something like (z0::c3) ?

I'm trying to transition between c4 and c3 in a chant. I've attached my
GABC and an excerpt from the PDF. The clef change happens properly at the
third line of p. 8 (page 2 of the PDF), but the custos on the previous line
is incorrect.

PS I'm using Gregorio 4.0.
