This is definitely a bug. I will create the issue in github.

This is most likely a situation that was not considered. If I
understand correctly, you still want all the automatic custos prior to
the line break before the <eu> block?
I'm not familiar with this setting. Can any of the other developers
provide any insight here? Without knowing more, I don't think what you
want is currently possible with Gregorio.
