That's a bug in v4.0.0-beta that was fixed in v4.0.0-beta2. Basically
the styles have undergone a major revision and the method for
maintaining backwards compatibility in v4.0.0-beta was to apply both the
new and the old infrastructure, which led to the bug you're seeing.
v4.0.0-beta2 uses a different method for maintaining backwards
compatibility which shouldn't suffer from this bug.
By the way, the new syntax is:
