Everything loaded by gregoriosyms is loaded by gregoriotex, you do not need both packages. Indeed, on the current development line, they have become mutually exclusive. However, gregoriosyms doesn't work as it was presented in v4.0.0-beta2.

`\gresep` is a deprecated function name. The new name is `\greseparator`. You should have gotten a warning in your log file about this.

`\greseparator` doesn't require units on its second argument. It automatically adds `pt` to whatever number is provided. Since you've provided an alternate unit (`in`) this added `pt` appears on the page. Assuming `1in` is the size you want, then your command should read:

\greseparator{1}{72.27}

`\gregoriosymbolfont` is no longer supported because of the new interface with the symbols. It would appear, however, that the ornamentations got left out in this conversion. I'll see what I can do about restoring access to these two glyphs.
