Dear All,

I’m wondering if in the future releases Gregorio should add a challenging
feature that is still missing, and that will make it a really complete
gregorian software: possibility to encode psalmic solemn tones, as they are
in the Antiphonale Monasticum.

Usually those schemes are presented in a tabular scheme, where the first
line is the 4-line staff and following lines are psalm versiculi each of
them aligned with the tones’ cadenzas, according to accentuation.

I’m wondering the following: is it possible to create in TeX a special
ambient called for example \begin{pstone} <…> \end{pstone} and structured
as a variation of the {tabular} ambient, where inputs can be text or gabc
snippets?

This would allow also creation of tables for formular comparison of any
dimensions…

Thank you!

Sr. Maria Ruth OSB
