Ok, I'll solve this in another way.

Thank you.
This results in a good spacing of a flat at the beginning of a line, but
not in the middle of the score. Surely, flat spacing is quite complex to
tune, because its setting should be different according to its position and
according to the quality of the letter(s) by which it is preceded.
Actually, official Solesmes’ scores treat the flat this way: it doesn’t
affect spacing, apart from the beginning of lines and its proper width. So
the easiest solution for me now is: may I have a command for a negative
space? I see that in nabc encoding it’s already available, it should be the
same for gabc: something like “-/”, for instance, that can be set
unbreakable (!-/) and repeated, if needed.
Or: does anyone give me a hint to use \kern command also between syllables?
It seems that only works among different words or independent elements… For
example, if I have the following:
Al(f)le(g)lú(ixihi)ia(h.)
And I try to force the flat backwards, closer to previous note, doing
something like:
Al(f)le(g)<v>{\kern -1mm}</v>lú(ixihi)ia(h.)
I get no results. (See the attached jpg for another example where I would
love to change space before the flat).
Another question: might anyone teach me how to change the dimensions of
greciliae neumes? I see that in Gregorio4.0-rc1 \greconffactor now just
affects spaces and distances, not neumes dimension (that is, I suppose, a
font dimension and not a distance). Maybe there’s a command like
\gretextformat also for music elements to tune? If so, what’s the greciliae
default size, and how can I change it?
I’m really sorry for bothering you with my questions...
Thank you very much!
