Dear All,

This is not directly related to Gregorio, but some of you may be
interested: I recently managed to convert the yinit font into otf
(modern font format). The result is on

https://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/gothic/yinit-otf

and should be in TeXLive if you have a cutting-edge version. To see how
it looks like, you can take a look at

http://mirrors.ircam.fr/pub/CTAN/fonts/gothic/yinit/yinit.pdf

The font was previously difficult to use, but this conversion should
make its use very straightforward, and it can also now be used outside
TeX (Adobe InDesign, etc.).

Thank you,
--
Elie
