Dear all,
We would probably prepare a booklet that contains selected chants with
annotation, commentary and/or translation as the first part of a
series of effort to promote Gregorian chant. As far as I know, there
is no other people around who is equipped or even aware of how to use
Gregorio and/or TeX. If there is a "shortcut" way of
editing/typesetting the booklet, it will really jump-start the project.
I read the examples at
http://gregorio-project.github.io/gregoriotex/example.html. They are
very beautiful and impressive. However, as an unexperienced learner of
GregorioTeX I only have limited knowledge of TeX itself. Is there a
simpler way (than typesetting the bare code) to integrate the score
with text formatted by a GUI application (such as Pages (Mac) or Word
(Windows) - I primarily use Mac)? I have tried inserting a PDF
score into Pages document. It works fine but the problem is that the
score cannot cross pages automatically.
Thanks,
