Hello Oliver,

I'm afraid there's not much to be done about this. Some time back
we decided that it was useful to have "cvs" appended to the gretl
version between releases. I can understand that package management
systems might balk, but it's intended to be helpful to humans ;-)

Easy enough to strip out the "cvs" using perl or sed or similar.
