Yes, I downloaded the GTK+.framework.dmg and then i drag the folder
GTK+framework to frameworks. After that, i download gretl and drag to
applications and then when i try to double click the program didnt work! I
already tried all the tips that there are in the readme but still the same.

I have no problem at all running Gretl with XQuartz on Mac OS X 10.8.2.
I don't believe that there is an alternative for XQuartz.

So what have you actually done?
Have you downloaded Gretl's GTK framework?
