I just tried this (using gretl's variable-selection arrow buttons when
sharing my entire desktop) on both Zoom and Jitsi and there's no
problem. So I guess this must be specific to Webex.
I just tested with Cisco Webex on Windows and can mostly confirm the
problem.
As a workaround, it seems possible to use the keyboard: move around with
Tab (or Shift-Tab for the opposite direction), mark variables with the
keyboard up/down keys, and click a (selected) button with Enter. But
very uncomfortable, of course.
Would be interesting if this also happens with a Linux version (I mean
Gretl built with GTK3).
