doc/groff.texi.in: Recast type size material.
* Speak of "the formatter", not "GNU troff", which discussing general
truths about *roff behavior.
* Stop overusing "thus".
* Break input lines for happier diffing and parallelization with
(anticipated) man(7)ification.
