This is off topic, but maybe someone can help me figure this one out.
I use vim a lot on my Windows 98 machine running Cygwin, and usually run my output through groff. However, there are times when I'd like to just print the file in plain text on my system printer. I find no evidence that Bash and Cygwin utilities any provision for talking to the Windows equivalent of an LP spooler, and I have found no way to use the lp command and have it work. However, on rare occasions, I fat-finger a key or perhaps multiple keys while using vim, and suddenly I'm getting output directly on my Windows printer of the sort I'd like to be able to get on other occasions, and I have no clue how I did it. Can anyone out there in groff land provide me with any enlightenment? It would be most helpful, and greatly appreciated. Clarke
