Exactly. Type 2 users build from release tarballs, not from git checkouts, so they never get to see ./bootstrap. The same holds for group 2.5, that is, porters building packages for downstream operating systems, by the way. They use release tarballs and don't need ./bootstrap, either. Yours, Ingo
