If it also gave a, possibly automated, indication of the commit with errors and an earlier commit which was successful then it could be enough to quickly focus on the area of change. If commits are small enough then a guess at the cause affecting portability may be possible. I suppose you'd have to try it and see how the recipients get on. :-) -- Cheers, Ralph.
