That's good news, but groff 1.24 is under a C/C++ code freeze and should
probably getting one for Perl and the macro files now, too.

Happy to evaluate this when the 1.25 cycle begins.  I don't know if
you've seen, but I'd like to abandon "release goals" and ship that this
summer.  Long release cycles take a lot out of me.
