I've seen something on the wiki. I can't find it now. Probably the best first contact is Kurt Kaiser the treasurer of the PSF. What I remember reading is submitting to the PSF to become an official project of the PSF. Then they handle all the receipts of monies. The donors receive tax benefits of making a charitable contribution to a recognized 501(c)3.
After considering setting up PuPPy with its own 501(c)3, I'm planning on submitting to the PSF as a project. More than the administrative overhead, we don't have a sufficient number of people to constitute a board for PuPPy. ᐧ On Thu, Oct 20, 2016 at 8:06 AM, Brian D. <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all, > > I am a co-organizer of PyNash (UG in Nashville).
