It is needed to attach SPDK to nvme disk. The kernel build config file that Canonical provides in Ubuntu 18.04 images shows CONFIG_UIO_PCI_GENERIC=m, indicating that the module was built. However, the module is not included in the image. Is there a reason why the uio_pci_generic module is not included in the Azure Marketplace image? If not, can we get it added back in?
