Do you have another mac? If so that would make this simple. You could
install it on the other one, and then move it over to the 10.4 managed box,
and then run the commands to make GrowlMail and plugins in general load. If
this sounds reasonably doable let us know and we'll get you the commands and
exact steps for doing this.
